New single, “B.A.S.I.C.”, is an anthemic slice of cross-over modern dub, with vocals led by Kassia Zermon, that features a plethora of remixes from some of the finest producers around. Reggae don Wrongtom (Ninja Tune / Tru Thoughts) comes through with an old skool jungle mix of epic dance floor proportions; Leeds based producer Debian Blak turns the bass up to 11 for a dubstep tinged joint complete with just a hint of d&b; newcomers from Brighton AK-DK deliver a stuttering, percussive re-work complete with dirty synths and fx; and finally Resonators themselves offer up a celestial dub as only they know how.
It’s the taste of things to come for the band’s debut album “The Constant”, due to be released on Wah Wah 45s this November!
